Researchers from the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH), from the South East European Research Centre (SEERC) and the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) come together to present a number of new innovative technologies in ICT and Transport in this brokerage event, jointly organised by the three research institutions.
The Special Secretary for Digital Planning, Mr. Antonis Markopoulos and the Chief Finance Officer of the New Economy Development Fund (TANEO), Mr. George Saperas, have been invited to open the event by presenting funding opportunities for new, innovative technologies.
A variety of research ideas and technologies with applications in medicine, industrial design, multimedia content management, security and surveillance areas, the protection of the environment, transport, urban mobility,and other sectors will be presented to an audience comprising of Venture Capitalists, Incubator Managers, Consultants and ICT/Transport business professionals. Following brief presentations a panel of key innovation experts will address questions to the researchers in an effort to explore the possibility of marketing the proposed technologies. Researchers will have the opportunity to discuss the details of their technology in a poster session throughout the event.
The brokerage event is a joint effort by the three research institutions to promote innovative concepts and technologies to the Greek market and abroad by bringing together researchers and potential investors. It is organised in the frame of the INTERVALUE project and funded by the South East Europe Transnational programme.
